'Second round' for Xavi: Barça has two days to sign him

Sergi Barjuan is at the moment Barcelona's boss. But the club wants to bring Xavi as Koeman's replacement, who is Al Sadd's current manager.
Barcelona already met with Al Sadd's board and told them the club's will to appoint Xavi as the first team head coach, but an agreement hasn't been reached yet.
Despite not being successful the first time, Barça's board remains calm. According to 'AS' there is a new meeting between both parties is set to happen soon.
According to the same media outlet, during the first meeting, Barcelona only presented Xavi's deal to the Qatari club.
During the second meeting, which will reportedly take place on Thursday, Barcelona will make an offer directly to Al Sadd's owner Mohammed bin Al Thani in order to get Xavi out of the club.
Joan Laporta won't attend that meeting. It will be Xavi the man in charge of telling the sheik that when he signed his contract extension he was promised he could leave if Barcelona wanted him for the manager job.
Xavi trusts the sheik's word. The former midfielder believes that Al Sadd will finally set him free to make his dream come true. Barcelona's board also believes that the Spaniard will end up sooner or later free to rejoin his childhood team. The club also believes that this whole situation will be solved in the next two days.
