Sergi Barjuan to remain in charge at Celta and Xavi to take over next week

Sergi Barjuan will be the Barcelona first team coach for one more game while the Barca board reach an agreement with Al-Sadd and Xavi Hernandez. Xavi is due to arrive in the Catalan capital next week.

The Catalans have reported that Sergi Barjuan will be to give Friday's press conference ahead of the away match at Celta Vigo. 

He is certain to be in charge for the game against Celta Vigo, but in the coming hours, Xavi is set to be involved when Barca's board travel to Qatar to complete the deal.

"Representing a club which has given me everything is amazing. I'm doing this as if it were my team. If I showed I was uncertain, the players wouldn't believe in me and what would we do would be useless. I cannot be thinking when I'll be here until. I love the club," Sergi Barjuan said in Kiev.

Despite not playing at their best, the victory over Dunamo Kiev has given Sergi prestige and got Barca out of a sticky position in the group as they should make the last 16 providing they avoid defeat at home to Benfica.
