In the 86th minute, Marcos Rojo chased forward in desperation and found the bottom left corner with a right-footed volley to send Argentina into euphoria in St. Petersburg.

The goal gave them a 2-1 lead and they managed to hold on to secure second spot in Group D, setting up a Round of 16 clash against France.
