Nigeria equalised through a composed penalty

Argentina had gone ahead in the match following a wonderful goal by their captain Lionel Messi early in the first half.
However, during a Nigerian corner Javier Mascherano appeared to pull Nigerian player Leon Balogun down in the box.
The referee immediately blew his whistle and showed the former Barcelona player a yellow card, but the offendants' protests made the on-field official consult the VAR.
After a wait of a few seconds, the officiating team were happy to give the penalty, but a scuffle between the two sets of players delayed the kick being taken even more.
Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses was the one to step up for the Super Eagles, and he calmly sent the Argentine keeper the wrong way to roll the ball in to the net, giving Nigeria the chance to remain in the top two positions in Group D.
