Raphinha withdraws from Leeds preseason to wait for Barca

When Raphinha thinks about the 2022-23 season, he sees himself more as a Barcelona player than a Leeds one. 'Sport' reports that the Brazilian will not join Leeds United's tour of Australia, where the team will play several friendlies. The winger will return to train separately while waiting for Barcelona to finalise his signing.
It will be difficult for Barca to sign him before they go to the United States, so we may have to wait weeks to see him join Xavi's side. Another option is for him to take a plane on his own once the transfer has been completed to join his teammates in America.
The footballer is confident that Joan Laporta will reach an agreement with Leeds to bring him to Barcelona. The president has been working on several economic levers in order to make his budget viable. Because of this, he has been able to sign Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessié.
So many deals are still up in the air that it is difficult to discern the order in which they will be carried out. Frenkie de Jong is still close to joining Manchester United and could be worth around 60 million euros, Umtiti and Lenglet are on the way out, Robert Lewandowski is still disagreeing with Bayern Munich... There is much to be confirmed.
