Newcastle break the bank with €90m offer for Sesko

Newcastle knows that it is virtually impossible to keep Alexander Isak beyond this summer. The Swede has made it clear that he wants a new challenge, and that challenge is Liverpool, which could sign him for €150 million.
Aware of the money it will have, the Magpies are going to break the bank to sign Benjamin Sesko. Once a target for Arsenal, the Slovenian is still with RB Leipzig, although perhaps not for much longer.
Newcastle, according to 'Sky' in Germany, is willing to pay up to €90 million for the RB Leipzig striker: €80 million up front plus another €10 million in variables, which would make him the most expensive signing in the club's history, ahead of Isak.
Sesko knows that this is a great opportunity in his career, to sign for a Premier League team that also plays in the Champions League, especially in a summer when RB Leipzig may lose some of its most important players.
