Monaco go for Belotti after Tchouameni sale

After selling Aurelien Tchouameni to Real Madrid, Monaco's board have started looking for possible signings to strengthen their squad with for next season. In the last few hours, the French club have progressed with an unexpected signing.
According to 'Sportitalia', Atletico are close to securing the signing of Andrea Belotti, Torino's captain and main man. The 28 year-old will become a free agent in a few days and could sign for Monaco.
Several clubs in Europe want to sign the Italian international this transfer window, given that he would cost nothing. Belotti could get his first taste of life outside of Serie A, a league that he has never left, with Monaco in Ligue 1.
At the same time, Torino will be dreaming of a suprise contract renewal and that the striker stays with the Italian club next season. However, everything seems to suggest that Belotti will be at a new team next season.
