Gundogan not considering summer exit as contract runs until 2026

Ilkay Gundogan's intention is to remain at Manchester City and not leave the club in the upcoming summer transfer window. The midfielder's contract, recently extended until June 2026, secures his future at the Etihad for at least one more season.
Despite multiple lucrative and interesting offers, the midfielder is focused on fulfilling his commitment to the Sky Blues.
His manager Pep Guardiola confirmed the extension: "Gundo has one more year on his contract, no doubt. I don't know what will happen in the summer, but now he has another year on his contract."
Gundogan rejoined City in August 2024 after his spell at Barcelona and has since returned to playing a key role in the team's midfield.
Although there have been reports of interest from clubs in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Italy, there is no indication that Gundogan is considering a move at this stage.
