Barca shudder as Vitor Roque is stretchered off after terrifying tackle

Barely seven minutes into the match between Athletico Paranaense and Internacional when all the alarm bells went off. Vitor Roque received a hard tackle from Nico Hernandez that left him on the ground, screaming in pain.

After the tackle, Vitor Roque was left lying on the ground in tears. The medical staff immediately rushed in to treat him while the player could not even get up. He had to leave the pitch on a stretcher.

According to the Brazilian press, the striker could suffer a tibia or fibula injury, or perhaps something more serious in his ankle. He could miss the remainder of 2023.

This news has been received with concern by FC Barcelona, because if the 'Financial Fair Play' allows it, the plan is to bring in the player in January for whom they paid 30 million fixed plus 31 million in variables.
