OFFICIAL: Brazilian prodigy Vitor Roque joins Barcelona until 2030

What was an open secret has finally become official. FC Barcelona announced on social media the arrival of Athletico Paranaense striker Vitor Roque at the club. The Brazilian prodigy has signed a seven-year contract with a buy out clause of 500 million euros.
However, the player will not join the Catalan giants until the 2024/2025 season as both parties agreed, as the Brazilian striker is very important for Paranaense and will play for them until the end of the Brazilian season in December.
According to several Spanish media outlets, the Camp Nou outfit will pay 30 million euros for the young starlet and another 30 million euros in bonuses, i.e. if certain objectives stipulated in the contract are met.
The young Brazilian is undoubtedly one of La Liga's hopes, as is Palmeiras youngster Endrick, who signed for Real Madrid and will join 'Los Blancos' in the 2024/2025 season when he comes of age. La Liga could return to the impact it has had in the past with this new battle between the two Brazilian stars.
