Alemany on his way to England to sign for Aston Villa

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery gave an interview to the 'Birmingham Mail' and spoke about the possible arrival of Mateu Alemany at the English side.
"Mateu Alemany is a person with experiences, he has worked at a high level and, if he’s coming here, because it is a possibility, it will be a very good opportunity to create a strong structure with him," the Spanish coach said.
And, according to journalist Gerard Romero, the 60-year-old is travelling to Birmingham to sign his new contract with Aston Villa. The same media outlet reports that he would be able to start his new job before 30th June. However, Alemany promised Barcelona to help them throughout the summer transfer window.
Nonetheless, the Catalan side are already working on finding a replacement. Deco is the main contender to replace Mateu Alemany. The Portuguese visited the Camp Nou on Wednesday to negotiate his new contract.
