Zidane turns to youngsters ahead of Champions League final

Even though three points at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium would move Madrid ahead of their city rivals in the La Liga table, Zidane is not risking his best stars.

With Cristiano Ronaldo, Isco and Dani Carvajal already ruled out through injury, Keylor Navas and Gareth Bale were given the match off with Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez spearheading the attack.

However, apart from Sergio Ramos, Nacho and Casemiro making up the spine of the team in defence and midfield respectively, the starting XI boasted a youthful look.

Kiko Casilla, Jesus Vallejo, Theo Hernandez, Matteo Kovacic and Dani Ceballos made up the rest of the line-up whilst the bench also included all youngsters.
