Zakaria diverts Jordi Alba's shot into the net to make it 0-1

Spain began the match against Switzerland as the big favourites to reach the semi-finals and they took the lead very early on. 

Luis Enrique's men took less than 10 minutes to go in front, but they did need a fair amount of luck as well. 

A Spain corner was unable to find a teammate in the box and the ball broke to Jordi Alba outside the box. 

The Catalan tried his luck from 25 yards out, the ball was going straight into Sommer's hands, but Zakaria deflected the ball into his own net. UEFA had initially credited Alba with the goal, but they later gave it as a Zakaria own goal despite the initial strike going on target.
