Zakaria, Chelsea's alternative if Bellingham transfer fails

According to 'ESPN', Chelsea would like to keep Denis Zakaria if Jude Bellingham does not end up at Stamford Bridge, despite the fact that the Swiss player has not been a top player in his loan spell with the Blues.

He is not being counted on too much under Graham Potter. However, Chelsea would have him as a second choice in case the blues do not make a deal for the star player in the next summer transfer window: Jude Bellingham.

According to ESPN, the London club would be willing to keep Denis Zakaria as an alternative to the Borussia Dortmund player. This makes it clear that Todd Boehly would like to invest in the midfield for the 2023-24 season.

It is worth remembering that the Swiss midfielder is on loan in the English capital from Juventus. Massimiliano Allegri preferred to go for Fabio Miretti this season and did the same with Weston McKennie, who eventually ended up on loan at Leeds United.

The midfielder has made just seven appearances in England. Four in the Premier League -Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and Fulham-, one in the FA Cup, one in the EFL Cup and the remaining one in the Champions League against Dinamo Zagreb.
