YouTube mishap confirms Rashford's move to Barcelona

Marcus Rashford is set to become a Barcelona player — that much is now certain. The England international is already training with the squad and is expected to join the team on their upcoming Asian tour.
While the official announcement is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon (23 July), the cat is already out of the bag. The Catalan club inadvertently confirmed his arrival from Manchester United due to a misstep on their official YouTube channel.
Barcelona uploaded a video titled "10 Things You Need to Know About Marcus Rashford", revealing several facts about the player — who appeared in the thumbnail already wearing the Blaugrana shirt.
The video was clearly intended for release after the formal unveiling. In fact, the club had initially set the video to "unlisted", but mistakenly added it to a public playlist, which made it accessible to anyone who played through that list.
As a result, fans were able to view the video for over two hours. It racked up 712 views before the club realised the error — tipped off by social media — and set the video to private. A viral mishap that only served to confirm what had long been an open secret.
