Yedlin set to sign for Newcastle
The USA international failed to break into the side at Spurs and ended up spending last season on loan at Sunderland, Newcastle's fierce rivals.
Yedlin played 25 times while on loan at the Black Cats and helped the Mackems stay in the Premier League to Newcastle's expense.
The right-back was in talks to sign for Sunderland earlier this summer, but the appointment of Sam Allardyce as England manager ended Yedlin's hopes of a Stadium of Light return.
