Xavi wants Trincao for the preseason

Barcelona's board of directors is still in the midst of planning for next season. The offices are buzzing with activity as they look to finalise the possible departures and additions for this summer.

One of those whose days at 'Can Barca' are numbered seems to be Trincao. The Portuguese will return from his loan spell with Wolves after not executing the 30 million buyout clause at which the Catalan giants had priced him.

However, the situation could change. According to 'Mundo Deportivo', Xavi is considering the possibility of the Portuguese player spending at least the pre-season with the team while his future is being decided.

Trincao has several offers on the table, although Sporting CP's offer is the most likely to be successful. Barcelona would not think twice about transferring him, although, for the time being, he will have to join Sporting on 4th July.
