"Whoever defends Vinicius has to be fast, otherwise he's lost"

Following their quarter-final clash in the Copa del Rey, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will meet again at the Santiago Bernabeu, but for a match corresponding to La Liga.

Former 'Merengues' player Marcos Llorente spoke to 'DAZN' ahead of the derby and spoke about the importance of Brazilian Vinicius for Carlo Ancelotti's side: "He's a very dynamic player, with a lot of pace and who has been doing very well in recent years. On the other hand, Llorente made it clear that winning the derby against Madrid will not save the season. "I don't think so. In the end, we always try to compete for everything. There are years when things get complicated and they don't happen. It's a special, important game, not just because it's against Madrid, but because it allows us to stay in the Champions League places, keep climbing and go for third place and that's what we're going to fight for", he commented.
