What unites Luis Suárez with Virgil van Dijk and Koeman?

Before their stardom at Liverpool and Barca, Virgil van Dijk, Ronald Koeman, and Luis Suárez played for Groningen. Not a big team, but a historic team that aren't going through their best moment because of the coronavirus crisis.

The three are aware and have announced that they will help the team. Although the Uruguayan has not specified about his donation in more detail, everything indicates that it will be identical to what Van Dijk and Koeman have already decided to lend.

The Liverpool defender announced on his Twitter that he would pay for 4 season tickets out of his own pocket and that he would also have a draw for them amongst the clubs' most disadvantaged fans, so it would be doubly helpful.

'AS' also mentioned Ronald Koeman's aid, who played for the club before bursting on to the scene at Ajax and PSV: "The Koeman family's relationship with FC Groningen remains strong. So Erwin and I helped the club with four season tickets and made them available for charity".
