West Ham set sights on Liverpool's Kelleher for summer move

The Hammers are looking to strengthen their squad with a new No.1 and have identified the 26-year-old Republic of Ireland international as an ideal candidate.
Kelleher, who has impressed in limited appearances for Liverpool, is reportedly available for transfer, with the Merseyside club valuing him around £20 million. West Ham are particularly keen on securing him on loan, though a permanent deal remains a possibility.
The Hammers are exploring several elite options to replace Alphonse Areola, who has struggled to convince under manager Graham Potter.
Areola has managed just four clean sheets in 21 league appearances this season, conceding 34 goals, and his inability to effectively play out from the back has raised doubts about his long-term suitability in Potter’s system.
Kelleher, in contrast, has proven his capabilities across competitions, keeping nine clean sheets while conceding just 20 goals in 20 appearances this season under Arne Slot.
Liverpool are open to parting ways with Kelleher, especially after completing the signing of Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia.
