West Ham insist on Emerson

West Ham have put their foot down in the last few hours to strengthen in the transfer window. The Hammers announced the signing of Kehrer on Wednesday and he is in talks with PSG over Keylor Navas. In addition, the English side are insisting on signing Emerson Palmieri from Chelsea. 

According to 'The Athletic', the club managed by David Moyes marked as a priority the signing of the Italian wing-back. However, the Blues want 15 million pounds for the defender. 

West Ham are trying to reduce the large amount of money the West Londoners are asking for, but they are aware that teams like Lazio and Juventus are also fighting for the Italian footballer. 

Emerson was on loan at Lyon last season and he was a nailed on starter at the French club. The defender of Brazilian origin made 36 competitive appearances, scored one goal and provided an assist.
