West Brom and Middlesbrough play out bore draw

West Brom were the dominant side in the first half and created a number of half chances without really threatening to score.
Antonio Barragan - playing in the unfamilar position of left-back - produced a vital tackle on James McClean who went on an excellent run and almost broke clear of the whole Boro defence.
Debutant Brendan Galloway had a shot that was comfortably saved by Brad Guzan before Salomon Rondon just could not manage to get on the end of a Matt Phillips corner.
Middlesbrough improved in the second half, and last week's hero Cristhian Stuani had a shot saved by Foster from a fairly tight angle.
Despite West Brom having the better chances, neither team really did enough to score and in the end, a draw was probably a fair result.
