Welbeck puts Brighton ahead of Man Utd at Old Trafford

Brighton continue to show why they are one of the Premier League's top sides in terms of style of play.

Manchester United hosted the Seagulls at Old Trafford on matchday 5 of the English championship, but they did not get off to the best start against De Zerbi's side.

The Seagulls needed just 20 minutes to stun the Red Devils with a great team move. Adingra received the ball on the left flank and his pinpoint cross was smartly jumped by Adam Lallana, which allowed Welbeck to push the ball into the net.

In doing so, Danny Welbeck scored his first goal of the 2023/24 season against his former club, as the England striker spent a five-year spell with the Red Devils before joining Arsenal.
