"We would like Real Madrid to bring back Miguel Gutierrez"

Miguel Gutierrez is one of those players whose future remains uncertain for the upcoming season. The Madrid-born left-back, one of Girona's standout players, is being closely monitored by a number of top European clubs.
One of these clubs is Real Madrid, who hold 50% of his rights after selling the other half to Girona in the summer of 2022 for €5 million. Daniel Mendez, the player's agent, spoke on the Zona Mixta podcast on Thursday and stated that their priority is to return to the Spanish capital, where Madrid hold a buyback option for just €8 million.
"Real Madrid are following their own timeline, they're not rushing because it's April. They know that once they raise their hand, everything will be decided. We would love it, and we'd be delighted if Madrid decided to bring him back. He has said it time and time again, though it's not up to him," he said.
Mendez then explained that if a return to Madrid doesn't materialise, they would consider other options: "If he doesn't go to Madrid, then we'll have to be happy with that as well, but we know what his decision is. Whatever happens, happens. If it's that option, then even better, but if not, there will be other options, and we'll have to be happy with them."
At present, Real Madrid have made no moves regarding the player. "Nothing has happened yet. It could still come to pass because it's in the contract, and the player is performing at an optimal level, even in recent matches where he's played while injured and still wanted to give his all for the team. That speaks volumes about him. His pain threshold is very high, and he wanted to carry on. He didn't jump off the ship, and he's recovered while playing," he concluded
