'We were an irregular team'

Leo Messi spoke to the press after the defeat against Osasuna that, together with the triumph of Real Madrid, gave the title to the rivals.

Since the break, the team has not been comfortable at all, and it was made clear by their performance on Thursday.

The Argentinean did not hide and talked about the problems that the team has had: "We should not have lost, this game reflects our year. It is the moment to make self-criticism".

Asked if Real Madrid deserved the title, Leo decided to choose the middle point of both of them: they have been very good, but Barcelona dropping points helped. . 

"Madrid did its thing. After the break, they didn't lose matches, which has a lot of merit. We lost a lot of points that we shouldn't have," explained the captain. 

One of the moments that drew attention to their match was the celebration of their goal with an angry gesture. "I've had a lot of free kicks and I couldn't get it in. In the end it came in and the celebration was a little bit out of frustration with the game and the whole year."
