"We’re going to give Argentina a beating, no doubt"

Brazil face a big test when they visit Argentina to face the 'Albiceleste' in their final match of this March's international break. The Brazilians sit third in the South American 2026 World Cup qualifiers, seven points behind Messi and company, who lead with 28.

The 'Selecao' are pinning their hopes on two of the most in-form players in the world at the moment in Vinicius Junior and Raphinha, who scored in his side's stoppage time win over Colombia last Friday. 

It was precisely the Barcelona winger who, in a chat with Brazilian legend Romario, heated up the match against the 'Albiceleste' by assuring that they were going to beat them easily and that he will be on target. 

"We’re going to give Argentina a beating, no doubt. Am I going to score? Yes. With everything. Screw them," stated the FC Barcelona winger ahead of the clash.
