"We're not paying a huge transfer fee for Ceballos"

Dani Ceballos will not be returning to Real Betis this summer, barring a surprise. Following the enigmatic messages the player has posted on his social media, club president Angel Haro has denied his possible incorporation.
"Real Betis aren't closing the door to any player. When the sporting directorate discusses a player, it must fall within certain economic parameters.
"As I said before, he had his opportunity two years ago, because there were only two parties involved then. Now there are three, and Real Betis will not pay a huge transfer fee for Dani because it wouldn't make sense," he said at Junior Firpo's presentation.
Manu Fajardo, the club's sporting director, also spoke on this matter: "As of today, he belongs to Real Madrid and has a valid contract. We must be respectful of other clubs when we talk about players under contract. You have to understand that I must monitor all possible situations in the market, not just with Dani."
"We have a clear conscience. If we don't sleep at night, it's because we're working 16 hours a day, not because we're not happy with our work. I have as clear a conscience as Dani Ceballos. I would be a bad professional if I didn't have the situation under control.
"I've spoken with Dani, as I have with other players. I'm not going to turn this into a soap opera or reveal details. From here, I wish Dani and Real Madrid the best of luck in the future, reiterating that we all have a very clear conscience here," Fajardo concluded.
