"We're all with Zinchenko, playing football is best for him"

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, has spoken to 'ITV Sport' about the difficult time Ukrainian footballer Oleksandr Zinchenko is going through at the moment. 

The Catalan coach spoke about the role his captain played in City's win over Peterborough in the FA cup: "Our captain decided to give the armband to him, to show how important the situation is. We are all at the club behind this gesture and behind my captain, who represents his country."

Moreover, Guardiola explained how Zinchenko is receiving support from the whole world: "He got not just [support from our fans], but all around the world, the UK, about this insane situation we are living in right now."

"Playing football is the best way for him. We are through to the next round and it was a good night knowing the difficulty of the FA Cup", explained Guardiola in his messages to the cited media.
