'We must be at our best': Zinchenko prepares Arsenal for Real Madrid test

Having reached the last eight of Europe's top competition for the second consecutive year, Arsenal face an uphill battle, especially with the daunting second leg at Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu. Despite this, Zinchenko remains eager for the challenge.
Reflecting on the draw, the Ukranian admitted his mixed emotions after Real Madrid narrowly beat Atletico Madrid on penalties, saying: "It was a bit of a strange feeling. Atletico were unlucky, especially with that Julian Alvarez penalty. But both teams – Real and Atletico – are exceptional. It will be an amazing experience for us. Facing one of the best teams in the world, with their level of experience and world-class players, is something we're all excited for."
Zinchenko stressed the importance of maintaining focus at the highest level: "In this competition, particularly at this stage, you can't afford to relax for a second. The quality and demands of the teams are immense. If you let your guard down, even for a moment, they will punish you. That's something we've learned from experience."
As Arsenal gear up for one of the toughest tests of their season, Zinchenko summed up the challenge ahead: "To play against Real Madrid, you have to deliver the best performance of your life. That's the reality at this level."
