"We made mistakes that PSG penalise you for"

Inter Miami midfielder Sergio Busquets regretted conceding too early against PSG on Sunday, which paved the way for a 4-0 thrashing for the French in the round of 16 of the Club World Cup.
"The truth is that very early on we went a goal down and knowing the difference in the two teams it cost us a little more. We made mistakes that a team like PSG, with those players, penalise you a lot and the truth is that the game was over very early in the first half," he said in statements to the DAZN broadcast.
"But well, it has to serve as experience for us to continue to grow. PSG is a great team with a great coach, Champions League champions. They scored a lot of goals against Inter Milan in the final and, when it's a game like that, they make you pay," he added.
The former Barcelona player, however, said he was "proud" of the role played by the Florida side in this tournament. "In the group stage we did very well and were growing, but today we were unlucky to have to face the European champions," he said.
