"We have more quality than Kubo says"

Take Kubo's words have had an impact on Real Sociedad. Despite them, their coach, Sergio Francisco, was calm about the level of his squad in an interview for 'Noticias de Gipuzkoa'.

"I like the ambition with which he expresses himself and he talks about being a reference point. I don't agree with him in terms of the quality of the squad, we have much more than what he refers to in his statements. From there, we are going to do everything we can to make him feel that we are competitive," he explained.

"Kubo relates it to ambition and feeling more protagonist for his game. What we have in our heads are quality players. Those that we think about bringing into the group are players that have to help us, players that we understand that they are the ones," he added.

"I think everyone thinks the same, not just Take. We are going to do few things, but the things we do have to be a leap in quality and have to help those inside. The club is always working during the the transfer window to make a complete squad," he said.
