Wales v Uruguay - Preview and possible lineups

Wales:

Ethan Ampadu, Neil Taylor, Joe Ledley, Aaron Ramsey and Tom Lawrence never made the trip to China so will no feature. Apart from those, Giggs has the full squad at his disposal.

Uruguay:

The South American outfit are also posting an extremely healthy squad for the match and have no injury concerns going into Monday's final.

Wales head coach Ryan Giggs:

"Even though it was a good performance against China, we will need to play even better to win the China Cup."

"That's what we're preparing for. It won't be easy because we're up against a tough, experienced South American team who are very good technically. But it's a great challenge for our players to come up against the best in the world."

Uruguay manager Oscar Tabarez:

The China Cup final will be his 185th game at the helm and Tabarez is undoubtedly chuffed with the achievement: "I took charge in 2006 and have seen numerous highs and low since then but we have a great group of players at the moment and that will stand us in good stead for the World Cup".

Gareth Bale broke Wales' all-time scoring record with a hat-trick as they thrashed the hosts 6-0 while Uruguay overcame the Czech Republic thanks to goals from Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez.

Prediciton:

It will be a hard-fought match but Uruguay will score a late goal during extra-time to secure a victory in China.
