Third matchday of group G, Spurs drew their opening game against Stade Rennais, but won the second against Mura. Spurs lead the table with 4 points and Vitesse are third with 3 points.
FT: Vitesse 1-0 Spurs! A deserved victory for the home side courtesy of Wittek's fine strike, and a first ever win against an English club in UEFA competition. In the end a deserved victory for a Vitesse side who seemed to want the three points more than a strangely subdued Spurs. The Arnhemmers grew into the game, created more chances than the visitors, and eventually had the class required to find the net. The Eredivisie side are right back in the mix in Group G.
GOAL for Vitesse! Dasa crosses to the edge of the area and Wittek brilliantly controls the volley to fire back across Gollini. The home side deserve their breakthrough.
Sanchez concedes a free-kick for a foul on Openda.

Dasa from 30 metres this time. Plenty of power again and Gollini has to watch it low to his right before making the save.
66'
Scarlett is penalised for handball.
64'
Dasa misses the target. Ferocious drive from 25 metres that has Gollini at full stretch but it veers away from the near post.
62'
Scarlett is adjudged to be in an offside position.
60'
A couple of semi-promising forays towards the Spurs penalty area and the GelreDome once again comes alive. Despite the lack of goals, the Vitesse fans definitely seem to be in the mood.

Corner for Vitesse conceced by Tanganga.

47'
Bryan Gil hits the woodwork! Wonderful driving run from Lo Celso before he finds Bryan Gil 20 metres out and the Spanish midfielder curls over Schubert but back off the bar. The first we've seen from the visitors but hopefully a sign of things to come in this half.
47'
Scarlett is flagged for offside.
46'
The second half begins. We are back under way in Arnhem!

HT: Vitesse 0-0 Spurs! Vitesse were the more adventurous of the two sides, and certainly spent a greater amount of time round the Spurs box than the visitors did round theirs, but invariably couldn’t find the final pass or lacked composure when an opportunity arose. The Londoners really have to get creative players like Alli, Bryan Gil and Bergwijn more involved if they want to break the game open.
45'
1 minute added on!
43'
Bergwijn has a shot blocked. The Dutchman tries to cut inside and fire at goal but too many bodies back there to find a route inside the far post.
Vitesse show only one change from the team which won the Gelderland derby against NEC 1-0 on Sunday. Bero returns from suspension at the expense of Gboho, who drops to the bench.
PRVW
Winks and Lo Celso will be the two deeper-lying midfielders in what looks like a 4-2-3-1 formation. Bergwijn, Alli and Gil are charged with supplying the creativity further up the pitch. Scarlett is the lone striker.
