Vinicius told Reinier what he had to do to return to Real Madrid

Reinier is delighted at Frosinone, although he admits that, in the future, he sees himself at Real Madrid, the club that loaned him to the Italian side last summer. "I’ve been away for 3 years, but I still have playing for Real Madrid on my mind. It’s my dream. I think my opportunity will come if I work well,” he said in an interview with 'AS'.
Not only does he have confidence in his chances, but so does Vinicius, with whom he has a great relationship: "He told me that I have to be calm, do things well and that I will be back at Madrid soon. Both he and Rodrygo are very supportive, we have a special relationship and I thank him for that".
He believes that he didn't do well in the 'merengue' reserve team due to several factors. "Raul was very welcoming. As well as being a legend, he's a great person. The problem is that there, with Castilla, I had a good start, with 2 goals and great confidence, but I also lacked a bit of luck. After playing 3 games, COVID-19 appeared and the league was definitively suspended", he said.
But he will never forget the day he heard of Madrid's interest. "I was with Flamengo and I was waiting for offers from several teams, but not from Madrid. When my father called me to let me know, I told him that we couldn't turn it down and my guts started to ache with excitement," he recalled with a laugh.
Although he is not there, Reinier declares himself a "merengues" fan. "Madrid has always been my team. I grew up watching Cristiano. I think my chance will come if I work well and I'm very focused on Frosinone," he concluded.
