Vinicius to become Madrid's highest-paid player

In mid-April, Cadena SER reported that Vinicius' renewal had already been agreed between all parties, with the signing still to be finalised. Real Madrid plan to announce it after La Liga and before the start of the Club World Cup. 'AS' takes a step closer to the details of the signing that will put him back at the top of the list of the best paid players in the squad.
The signing of Vinicius will extend his contract with Los Blancos until 2030. That is to say, three years more than what he had agreed so far in his previous contract, his first as a big star of the first team after the first one that brought him from Brazil. And this one will give him a new leap on the salary scale.
According to “AS”, he will be the highest paid of the squad. In the previous one he split 75 million in five seasons -until 2027- with around 15 kilos net per season. Now, he will be much closer to 20 to surpass even Kylian Mbappe, who did receive other extras such as the aforementioned signing bonus after leaving Paris Saint-Germain.
And Vinicius' new contract will have bonuses. From titles won by Real Madrid during all these years and also for individual awards such as The Best or the Ballon d'Or, as well as goal lines to be exceeded per season.
It will be the last manoeuvre to scare off Saudi Arabia after so many rumours for months. The player never considered leaving Real Madrid at this stage of his career despite the dizzying financial offer and the club will show with the renewal that it has not doubted him either despite the drop in performance in the last few months of the season.
