Tottenham boss Jose Mourino has spoken to the press before Friday's Premier League match-up against Everton at Goodison Park. He spoke about the importance of the match - see what he had to say!

Not too long ago, this game would have been a battle for the top four and the final Champions League spot. Since then, however, both sides have suffered from a drop in form and fallen away from West Ham, Chelsea and Liverpool, who all look more likely candidates.

Tottenham's last result was a disheartening 1-3 loss at home to Manchester United, a game which caught the attention more for the manner in which Mourinho's men lost. His side threw away an early advantage, however the Portugese has refused to elaborate on this potential flaw of his side.

Spurs face an Everton side that are yet to win in their last three matches, dropping points against Burnley, Palace and Brighton. Mourinho will see this as an opportunity to recover some form and try for an outside shot at the CL places.
