Spain faced Switzerland in a Euro 2020 clash on Friday.

A Denis Zakaria own goal gave Spain the lead in the eighth minute after he deflected Jordi Alba's effort in, but Spain did not get a second in St Petersburg. Xherdan Shaqiri levelled for the hosts midway through the second period while Remo Freuler was harshly sent off for a foul on Gerard Moreno 13 minutes from the end. No goals were scored in extra-time and there was a penalty shootout. Even though Busquets and Rodri missed from the spot for Spain, Schar, Akanji and Vargas all missed for the Swiss and Mikel Oyarzabal scored the winning penalty. 

After the 3-1 shootout win, Spain coach Luis Enrique spoke to the media and believed his team deserved to win in the 120 minutes of play. Have a listen to his comments in the video above!
