VIDEO: St-Etienne's draw at Auxerre in Ligue 1 play-off final 1st leg

St Etienne travelled to play Auxerre in a Ligue 1 promotion/relegation play-off final first leg on Thursday. 

St Etienne, who finished 18th in the top flight, took the lead after 15 minutes through Zaydou Youssouf. It remained 0-1 at the Stade Abbe Deschamps, but Auxerre, who were 3rd in Ligue 2, levelled after 86 minutes through Gaetan Perrin. The second leg takes place at the home of St Etienne on Sunday at 19:00 CEST. The winners will play in Ligue 1 next term and the away goals rule applies so Auxerre must score in the return leg.
