On Thursday, Kayserispor and Sivasspor met in this season's Turkish Cup final. It was Sivasspor who came out on top at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium after a five goal thriller.
The match was all square after 90 minutes as Ramazan Civelek had netted for Kayserispor in the first half, but Aaron Appindangoye replied in the second for Sivasspor. The crowd in the Olympic Stadium were then treated to a dramtic extra time period as Max Gradel put Sivasspor in front only for Parlak to draw the game level again. There was still time for Pape Konate to get the winner in the 113th minute however, and it meant Sivasspor were the ones to lift the Cup this time round.
Although the two teams reached the Cup final this season, their domestic campaigns were not as successful. Sivasspor finished the season in 10th position, while Kayserispor finsihed in 14th.
