VIDEO: Macías scores twice as Chivas beat Santos 3-1
Chivas hosted Santos Laguna for a pre-season friendly on Thursday. The two Mexican clubs are preparing for the 2022 Apertura campaign.
It was the home side who came out 3-1 winners after the final whistle. Briseno opened the scoring for Chivas in the 26th minute. In the second half, Santos' Doria drew the match level before Macias netted a brace within five minutes to decide the match.
