VIDEO: Lars Stindl helps Gladbach beat Groningen in pre season

Borussia Monchengladbach took on Groningen in a friendly on Saturday.

In tthe 15th minute, the hosts took the lead in front of 5,000 fans thanks to captain Lars Stindl. Just before the interval, the Dutch side scored an own goal and Gladbach went 2-0 ahead. Michael de Leeuw pulled one back for Groningen in the 49th minute, but they could not find an equaliser. Take a look at the highlights from the clash in the video above!

Gladbach's next match is away to Kaiserlautern on 9th August in the German Cup while Groningen face Venezia in a pre-season friendly on Friday.
