Ajax took on Sparta Rotterdam in an Eredivisie clash on Saturday.

Joeri de Kamps gave the basement boys the lead with 33 minutes on the clock at the Johan Cruyff Arena, but Ajax turned things around after the interval. Davy Klassen levelled for the hosts in the 49th minute and then Dusan Tadic converted a penalty just after the hour mark. Sparta Rotterdam were unable to find an equaliser and they left empty handed.
