Basel beat Zurich 4-0 in the Swiss League last Tuesday. DUGOUT

FC Basel 1893 thrashed FC Zurich 4-0 in July 2020, thanks to a brilliant brace from Fabian Frei. The Swiss international opened the scoring with a powerful shot and then completed the victory with another cracker in the dying seconds.

Basel faced Zurich in the Swiss league on Tuesday night at St Jakob Park.

Fabian Frei scored in the 14th minute to put Basel ahead and then Stocker made it 2-0 in the 37th minute. The hosts then killed off the contest in the 92nd minute through Van Wolfswinkel and then Fabian Frei netted his second just two minutes later. Enjoy Fabian Frei's two goals in the video above!

Basel are in third on 55 points, six points behind leaders Young Boys while Zurich are in 6th on 42 points.
