Pulgar's free-kick helped Bologna beat Sampdoria back in 2019. DUGOUT

Erick Pulgar's free-kick against Sampdoria in April 2019 flew into the top corner to give Bologna AFC 1909 a two goal lead in their 3-0 win.

Bologna met Sampdoria on matchday 33 of the 2018/19 Serie A season.

The home side took the lead in the 54th minute after a Lucas Tonelli own goal. Then, in the 69th minute, Erick Pulgar hit a superb free-kick into the top corner to double Bologna's advantage. The three points were sealed seven minutes from time when Orsolini scored.
