VIDEO: Diego Valdés scores brace in friendly vs León

America ran out as 5-2 winners against Leon in a pre-season friendly at the Estadio Azteca.

America took the lead in the ninth minute thanks to a goal from R.Sanchez and never looked back. The home side went into half time 4-0 up, thanks to a first half brace from D.Valdes and a goal from R.Martinez. Leon fought back to an extent in the second half, with goals from S.Colombatto and O.Villa restoring a small sense of pride, but A.Zendejas second half goal meant that the game ended 5-2 to the home side.

Both teams are getting in their final preparations before the start of the Liga MX Apertura season, which is just around the corner.
