VIDEO: Behind the scenes of Porto’s win vs Lazio in the Europa League

Porto hosted Lazio in their first leg of the new Europa League playoff round this Thursday. The home side came out 2-1 winners at the Estadio do Dragao.

The new Europa League format means an additional preliminary knockout round is played before the round of 16 between teams ranked second and the third in groups. The Italian side opened the scoring through a Zaccagni goal on 23 minutes. However a Toni Martinez brace either side of half time meant the home side go into the second leg one goal to the good. 

The win would have delighted the home fans. However, they will be cautious of celebrating too early as a tricky return leg to the Stadio Olimpico in Rome awaits. Watch Thursday night's events in the video above!
