VIDEO: Behind the scenes as Valencia get dramatic win v Elche

Valencia hosted Elche in a La Liga clash at the Mestalla on Saturday. 

Goncalo Guedes gave Valencia the lead midway through the first half at the Mestalla. In the second period, Lucas Boye levelled 15 minutes from time. Cristiano Piccini put the home side back in front four minutes before the end. Controversy soon followed though as Elche felt they had levelled in the 90th minute, but the officials said goalkeeper Cilessen had stopped the ball just before it crossed the line. As there is no goal line technology, the VAR checked it, but felt there was not enough evidence to overturn the decision. Valencia are 7th on 25 points while Elche are 16th on 15 points.
