Barcelona got their pre-season underway with a friendly against local side Olot on Wednesday.
Despite Pique and Andreas Christensen being absent, many senior players took part in the contest. The La Liga side took the lead in the 28th minute through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. However, just before half-time, the home side, who play in the fifth tier, were awarded a penalty and Eloi Amagat converted it. Neither side were able to score again in the second half and it ended 1-1. Take a look at the best moments from the contest at the Estadi Municipal d'Olot in the video above!
The Catalans now travel to the USA for four pre-season matches. Their first game is against Inter Miami at 02:00 CEST on 20th July (19th July in the USA) before fixtures against Real Madrid, Juventus and New York Red Bulls follow.
