Marco Asensio ended a seven-season spell at Real Madrid last summer to try his luck in France, specifically with Paris Saint-Germain, with whom he signed a three-season contract as a free agent. 

The Spanish winger has not managed to become a permanent fixture in coach Luis Enrique's starting line-up but has undoubtedly been a key player in the Parc des Princes side's season, who have won a domestic treble that includes the French Super Cup, French Cup and Ligue 1.

The former Real Madrid player has made 31 official appearances in his debut season for the French side, 16 of which have been starts. In addition, the Spain international has contributed to the team by scoring 5 goals and providing 7 assists. Check out Asensio's goals in his first season abroad.
