VIDEO: 10 men Patronato de Paraná defeat Independiente

On Sunday, Patronato hosted Independiente at the Estadio Presbitero Bartolome Grella for an Argentine Primera Division clash. The home side came out the victors.

Patronato's Axel Rodriguez openend the scoring with just seconds on the clock. 15 minutes later, there was more early drama as the home side's Valdez Chamorro was dismissed. However, ten minutes later, Jonas Acevedo doubled Patronato's advantage before Lucas Romero managed to pull a goal back for the visitors on the stroke of half time. Miraculously, in the second half, Rodriguez scored his second of the match to regain Patronato's two goal cushion and the ten men stood firm to see the game out.

The result means Patronato move up into 15th place, one ahead of Independiente.
